New ReviewerTech installed dish in front of my house without me being home...and in wrong place on my house installed.Cracked my baseboard drilling hole..2 days later got a bill for what Shaw says is the techs mileage?? which was never told I had to pay while ordering..not frigging impressed! Come on Shaw..you can do better then this..disappointed!

Iโm not sure what happened to Shaw Cable. In Edmonton Alberta, I have been a loyal customer for years.
But over the past couple years I have watched the steady decline of services to the point where I have to wonder if their going bankrupt. There was a point where I had to turn off my cable services for a few months and they charged me $10.00/month just to keep my email address active !
Fast forward till now: they say they donโt throttle their internetโs speeds but clearly when youโre watching a streaming tv show, your connection starts to stutter, with the fastest bandwidth they offer.. all I can say is that if I could get someone at Shaw to answer my call, Iโd cancel them as my service provider, but I canโt even cancel my service until they answer my call !
Did they answer your call at all or xhat? Hope you find any resolution.
I am also a Shaw customer for 19 years now and never had a problem or complaint about the service at all...until recently. My guide menu, Shaw on demand and pvr functions have been down for almost a week and they tell me they canโt fix it and a service tech wonโt be here for a week!
I am paying good money now for a service that is partially inaccessible and all the way inconvenient...
but the customer service reps donโt seem to care...I would switch to Telus but I read the reviews on them and it doesnโt look much better! There is no such thing as good customer service anymore....there doesnโt need to be when they all provide the same *** service I guess!
Wow unbelieveable install for new service. If they install new service like 8n my suite, I would be be pissed.
I hope thry will repair the damage . They a huge company I s8jt see why not as this is your place. If they unwillingly repair it. You can file small claims or file damage report and charge shaw direct tech to pay for the damage.
It not right. I hope they make it right for you today.
