We are visiting from another province, used Shaw before but this time the service has been disgusting. We have tv, internet and phone package since the end of October, they have had several service people come to re-do the cables, check various things AND suggest if it becomes a problem unplug power and wait 5 minutes.

I don't recall how many times we have had to do this, or we are watching a program only to have the screen freeze, again and again. We have phoned and when they indicate that they can have someone come BUT you wait for over one week (that isn't a customer service high priority) they did offer a $25. discount which isn't very helpful when all you really want is good reliable service. When we unplug it takes hours to show the channel guide.

Last week, they unplugged our system while we were talking on the phone, long distance to a family member...when we went out to the back of the motorhome, they said they had to use our same post b/c they were having problems connecting that family up.

So damn frustrating no offer or not even the courtesy to come let us know that they were unplugging which stopped our phone service, etc. The worst service and upon talking with someone else they said they know the Shaw telephone number by memory they have to phone so often.
